History
of the estate
The estate is farmed by the owner of Château du Payre in Cardan, south-east of Bordeaux, within the Cadillac appellation. The vines are grown on silty-clay soils under sustainable viticulture (Terra Vitis certification since around 2008). The “Domaine du Vic” wine embodies five generations of mother-to-daughter family transmission since 1881. Served as an aperitif or with foie gras, it combines generosity and freshness in the soft, sweet style typical of Cadillac.
