History
of the estate
Created in 1999 by François Despagne, Château Ampélia covers 8.8 hectares at the top of the Saint-Philippe d’Aiguilhe plateau (110 m). Organic-certified since 2018, the estate highlights a clay-limestone terroir and practices parcel-based vinification for maximum precision.
