History
of the estate
Château Lanessan has belonged to the Bouteiller family since 1793 and covers 45 hectares on deep gravel soils. The estate is HVE3 and ISO 14001 certified, follows a sustainable approach and ages its wines 12 to 18 months in barrels. Located in Cussac-Fort-Médoc, it neighbours the grands crus classés of Saint-Julien.
